Graduating from the Fine Arts Academy of Besançon in 2021, Marion Micigolski is a graphic designer and artist based between Paris, Besançon, and Lac–des–Rouges–Truites. She explores the intersections between graphic design, digital media, and visual culture studies. Her multidisciplinary, experimental, and poetic projects focus on creating images and narratives through various mediums. Her practice moves between the physical and virtual realms, guided by a conceptual and exploratory approach. She investigates the influence of architecture, as well as natural and digital environments, on our perception of the world, while questioning our relationship with the virtual nature of images. In her photography, she reveals microcosmic and macrocosmic anticipations of the landscape, building bridges between reality and imagination. Écotones serve as a framework for research and creation that she has been developing since early 2023.
